Disgusting story about my keyboard

I like to eat snacks, and I often end up doing it in front of the computer. While crunching away on foods such as chips and bread, it's all too easy to spill crumbs everywhere. Usually, they tend to fall into the cracks on my keyboard. Add multiple computer users to the equation, and after several years, the inside of our keyboard was a disgusting casserole of crumbs and human flakes.

You might think that there's really nothing wrong with allowing food particles to build up in your keyboard. A valid assumption, but I think you'll change your mind when I reveal the most disgusting part of the story: Our keyboard had become a home for mealworms! We spotted them crawling out from between the keys. It was so disturbing, I immediately brought the grub-infested device out into the garage and never looked back.

The moral of the story is: Take care to not spill crumbs in your keyboard, or maggots will crawl out and be disgusting.
