Land of the Rat

I stand looking towards the bright sheen,
and see a smooth supple atmosphere surrounding,
the great vacancy is astounding to a mammal that has
recently became the master of the earth,
Oh how I stand to learn about the infinite spaces
that engulf us with understandable emptiness,
careening and whirling with unbelievable plasma,
while I sit and think and stink,
pursuing something that is so trivial in comparison,
and you can drink kombucha, of course,
but it's expensive.
